About Joshua Paul

Joshua Paul Stein earned his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2017, after beginning his studies there in 2014. He completed the classroom and clinic work that the program required and graduated as part of the mid-decade class. The law school years gave him the credential that launched his legal career.

After law school, Stein entered private practice. He gained experience handling client matters and managing the practical demands of legal work. Over time he moved from associate roles into running his own practice. That transition led to the formation of Joshua P. Stein Law, LLC, where he serves as principal and manages both casework and firm operations.

Stein’s practice blends advisory work and litigation. He counsels clients on rights and obligations, drafts documents, and represents clients in court when matters proceed to litigation. He combines courtroom preparation with attention to client communications. Colleagues describe him as methodical in building a case and clear in explaining options to clients.

His work requires steady attention to deadlines and procedural rules. He spends time researching legal precedent and preparing pleadings. On the client side, he seeks to clarify complex legal issues and outline likely outcomes. He handles the practical tasks that come with running a small law office, from case management to client intake.

Outside formal filings and hearings, Stein balances the business side of a law practice with direct client contact. He regularly meets with clients to review strategy and to set expectations. The firm model allows him to control the pace of cases and to tailor service to individual matters.

Those who work with him can expect a straightforward approach. He explains the steps of a case, outlines potential timelines, and prioritizes clear communication. The firm operates as a small, client-centered practice, handling matters that require both legal knowledge and practical case management.

In his current role at Joshua P. Stein Law, LLC, he continues to manage casework and advise clients on their legal options. His current practice focuses on delivering practical legal services and representation through a small-firm model.
