About Joshua
Joshua Damberg built his legal foundation at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Leadership in 2014. He stayed in Minnesota for law school and received his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2017. Those years in the classroom framed his interest in client-centered work and practical problem solving.
He entered practice in Minnesota soon after graduation. While in law school he held summer and clerk positions, including a summer associate role in 2016 at Pemberton Law Office and a law clerk position the same year with Maser, Amundson, Boggio & Hendricks, P.A. He joined Maser, Amundson & Boggio, P.A. as an associate in 2017 and spent his early years refining litigation and transactional skills there.
In 2020 Damberg moved into estate planning and elder law, taking a lawyer position at Henningson & Snoxell, Ltd. The role gave him sustained experience drafting wills and trusts, advising on guardianship matters, and working with families on long-term care planning. He returned to broader associate roles after that, joining Messerli & Kramer P.A. in 2021 and then Fafinski, Mark & Johnson as an associate in 2022. Across those offices he handled client counseling, document drafting, and estate administration tasks.
Colleagues describe him as methodical and steady. He approaches matters by breaking them into concrete steps. He listens for practical priorities and then maps out options in straightforward terms. That approach shows up whether he is drafting an estate plan, guiding a family through probate, or advising on incapacity planning.
Damberg is licensed to practice in Minnesota and has spent his career working in the state. His background blends courtroom experience from his early associate years with the specialized work of estate planning and elder law. He has worked on both individual client matters and team-based projects for law firms that serve mid-sized and local clients.
Outside the office he has remained rooted in the Minnesota legal community through ongoing professional contacts and local practice. He keeps up on developments that affect older clients and families managing transitions in care and finances.
He currently practices in Minnesota, where his work centers on estate planning, elder law, and related client counseling.
