About Joseph Peter
Joseph Peter Allgor earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia before completing a juris doctor at UCLA School of Law. Those two institutions shaped his legal training in different regions of the country. He moved from a Virginia liberal arts campus to a West Coast law school and carried that bi-coastal perspective into his subsequent practice.
He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and holds admissions to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Those federal admissions allow him to appear in trial-level federal courts that handle a wide range of civil matters. Over the years he has built a practice that includes courtroom appearances and filings in both state and federal forums.
Professionally, Allgor has taken on responsibilities that reflect the procedural demands of litigated matters.
