About Joseph

Joseph Paley grew up interested in how history shapes public life. He studied history at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, earning a Bachelor of Science in 2015 after beginning his undergraduate work in 2012. He then moved to Ohio to attend the University of Dayton School of Law, where he completed his Juris Doctor in 2018. Those years in the classroom helped him learn how to read complex texts closely and to construct clear, persuasive arguments under deadline pressure.

After law school he established himself in Ohio's legal community. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and has spent the past several years building a practice based in that state. Rather than follow a single narrow path, he has worked on a range of matters that require courtroom preparation, negotiation and client counseling. He has handled filings, appeared in hearings and managed case calendars, often juggling several matters at once.

Paley’s approach to cases is methodical. He frames issues factually and lays out options in plain language. That clarity matters in meetings and in court. He also places a premium on organizing evidence and preparing witnesses. Those habits come from his training in law school and from early assignments that emphasized procedure and courtroom advocacy.

Over time he moved toward private practice and now operates from his own firm. He founded The Paley Firm LLC to provide a base for his work in Ohio. The firm serves as the platform for his client representation and case management. He uses that structure to coordinate filings, meet court deadlines and provide regular updates to clients.

Outside of court work, Paley is attentive to the administrative side of running a small firm. He oversees scheduling and supervises support staff. He also keeps up with changes in state court rules and local practice so that filings and procedures are current.

In day-to-day practice he advises and represents clients in matters brought in Ohio courts. He combines courtroom experience, legal research skills and plainspoken communication in handling cases. He currently practices law at The Paley Firm LLC, representing clients in Ohio.
