About Joseph John
Joseph John Piatchek built his legal foundation at the University of Missouri–Columbia. He earned a B.A. in Psychology in 1999 and later returned to the same campus to complete his J.D. in 2004. Those years shaped his approach to client work and courtroom practice.
Soon after law school he moved into practice management. In 2004 he served as the managing lawyer of The Piatchek Law Office, LLC. The following year, in 2005, he took on a managing lawyer role at Affordable Legal Services. Those early leadership posts put him in the position of running case work and handling the administrative side of small-firm practice.
Piatchek has pursued supplementary training in dispute resolution. He holds an Advance Dispute Resolution credential from the University of Missouri. That training informs how he handles negotiations and settlement discussions, and it complements litigation strategies when cases do not settle.
He is admitted to practice in Missouri and conducts his work within the state’s courts. Over time his practice has combined client-facing responsibilities with the organizational duties that come with managing a law office. Colleagues and clients see him often in the practical tasks of litigation and client counseling rather than in academic settings or full-time teaching roles.
Today he maintains The Piatchek Law Office, LLC as his base of operations. He continues to practice in Missouri and manages the daily work of the firm. His current practice focuses on representation and legal services delivered through The Piatchek Law Office, LLC in Missouri state courts.
