Joseph Farid Jacob’s path to law began in a different field. He earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Aleppo University in Syria in 1989. After moving into graduate study, he completed an MBA at St. Peter s University in 1996. He later pursued legal training at St. Johs Law School, adding a law degree to an already varied academic background.
Jacob holds licenses to practice in both New York and New Jersey. He made the transition from engineering and business into law over the course of his education and early career. Since 2000 he has maintained professional association membership, a steady connection to the broader legal community that has run alongside his private practice. He has combined technical training and business education with legal study in a way that informs his professional work.
