About Jonathon N.
Jonathon N. Fazzola built a path to law through the liberal arts and public policy. He earned a B.A. in English and Economics from Kalamazoo College, then took a master’s degree in public policy at the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. He completed his legal studies at the University of Michigan Law School, combining analytical training in policy with legal education.
His early legal work included a stint at Latham & Watkins LLP in 2012. That year at a large, national firm gave him exposure to complex litigation and the demands of high-stakes practice. In 2017 he joined The Fierberg National Law Group, PLLC, where he appears on records as a lawyer that same year. The move marked a transition from a large-firm environment to a different practice setting and caseload.
Fazzola holds licensure in both Illinois and Michigan and maintains membership in the State Bar of Michigan since 2017. He also belongs to the National Crime Victim Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect the circles in which he practices and the professional organizations he engages with.
Colleagues describe his career as a blend of broad training and targeted practice. He has experience handling litigation and related client work, shaped in part by his time at a national firm and later at a smaller, specialized office. His background in public policy and law informs how he assesses statutory and procedural questions. He is comfortable working on matters that require courtroom preparation as well as careful case development outside of trial.
Today he practices at The Fierberg National Law Group, PLLC. His work is concentrated on matters involving victims and civil claims arising from criminal conduct, and he represents clients in proceedings and filings that flow from those incidents.
