About Jonathan S.
Jonathan S. Goldstein built a legal career grounded in Florida property law and condominium governance. He earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2006 after completing a B.A. at Tulane University in 2001. Those academic milestones led directly into practice in South Florida courts.
He began his legal work in 2006 at Cuevas, Ortiz & Goldstein, P.A., where he handled matters that often touched on community association issues and real estate disputes. That early period gave him practical courtroom experience and regular exposure to the kinds of conflicts that arise in condominium and planned community settings. In 2013 he became a partner at Haber Law, a position he holds today.
Goldstein is admitted to practice in Florida and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He has maintained an active membership in the Florida Bar since 2006 and belongs to the Dade County Bar Association and the Florida Lawyers Network. Those memberships reflect ongoing ties to the local legal community and to colleagues who work on similar matters across the state.
Certification plays a distinct role in his profile. The Florida Bar Board certified him in Condominium and Planned Development Law, a credential that signals specialized training and an ability to handle the technical statutory and governance questions that arise for associations, boards and developers. His day-to-day work draws on that certification when counseling boards, defending or pursuing litigation, and advising on compliance with state condominium statutes.
Clients and opposing counsel see him most often on issues created by shared ownership: assessment disputes, enforcement of covenants, developer transition matters, and election and governance fights. He also handles related real estate litigation and transactional matters that touch on common-interest communities. He appears in both state court and federal court when cases involve federal issues or fall under the jurisdiction of the Southern District of Florida.
Outside the courtroom he participates in professional networks that keep him current on changes to condominium law and local practice. He has continued involvement in bar activities since his admission and in networking groups since 2015. He practices at Haber Law and focuses on condominium and planned development law and related litigation.
