About Jonathan

Jonathan Ostroff began his legal path after earning a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University’s Beaver campus in 1982. He continued his studies at Widener University Commonwealth Law School and received his J.D. in 1989. The timeline of his education set the stage for a career spent largely in trial work and client advocacy.

Soon after law school he entered private practice. By 1993 he was a named partner at Ostroff Injury Law, a role he has held for decades. The position reflects an early shift into handling personal injury matters and serious civil litigation. He built a practice that centers on courtroom representation and settlement negotiations for people hurt in accidents.

Ostroff’s professional affiliations underscore his standing among trial attorneys in the region. He is a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar. Since 2017 he has served on the executive board of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He joined the Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2016, and he has been listed among the National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100 Trial Lawyers since 2017. Those memberships represent peer networks and a continued engagement with trial practice organizations.

Colleagues and clients describe his work as straightforward and results-oriented. He focuses on evidence development, depositions and trial preparation. He handles negotiations with insurers and opposing counsel, and he prepares complex cases for jury trials when settlement is not an option. His courtroom years have left him comfortable in high-stakes settings and focused on the details that can change case outcomes.

Geographically, Ostroff practices in Pennsylvania and maintains offices that include a presence in Philadelphia and New Jersey. The firm’s main office serves as a central base for client meetings, case preparation and hearings in state courts. He works with a team of attorneys and staff to manage caseloads and to coordinate expert witnesses, medical records review and discovery.

Across his career he has balanced litigation, client counseling and organizational involvement. He continues to take cases that require trial experience and a strategy tailored to each client’s situation. His current practice concentrates on representing individuals in personal injury and related civil litigation matters.
