About Jonathan Allen

Jonathan Allen Lang blends a background in finance with a law degree earned in the early 2000s. He studied finance at Creighton University, receiving a B.S. in 1998, then moved into law at George Mason University, where he completed his J.D. in 2002. The two degrees shape how he approaches legal questions today.

Lang's undergraduate studies gave him a foundation in numbers and risk. His time in law school added training in procedure, advocacy and legal analysis. Those elements come together in client work that often involves financial detail and careful document review. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and handles matters that require both legal and fiscal attention.

After finishing law school Lang entered private practice. Over the years he has worked on a range of matters that touch on contracts, business arrangements and other disputes where finance matters are central. He is known among colleagues for an analytical, methodical approach to problem solving. He prepares for hearings and negotiations with an eye for practical outcomes.

Lang is currently with Slocum & Lang, P.C. There he works alongside other attorneys on cases and transactions that arise in Pennsylvania. At the firm he contributes experience drawn from his education and years in practice. He also engages in the day-to-day demands of client counsel: drafting papers, reviewing records and advising clients on possible routes forward.

His practice style favors careful preparation. He breaks complex problems into manageable pieces and explains options plainly. Clients get written analyses and frank assessments of risks and timelines. That clarity helps when finances and legal obligations intersect.

Outside the office Lang has kept a steady interest in the intersection of law and finance. He follows developments in regulatory and commercial practice that affect how businesses and individuals handle contracts, lending matters and corporate arrangements. He pays close attention to changes in Pennsylvania law that affect his clients' choices.

He has maintained a continuous practice in Pennsylvania since entering the profession and continues to represent clients through Slocum & Lang, P.C. His current practice concentrates on legal matters arising in Pennsylvania.
