About Jonathan

Jonathan Allen entered law school after completing a liberal arts degree at Western New England College in 1994 and earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1997. He built his early career in Massachusetts, the state where he has practiced since finishing law school. He combines classroom training from a regional law program with more than two decades in private practice.

He has been a member of the Massachusetts State Bar since 1997. He also retains active ties to local and national professional groups, including the Hampden County Bar Association and the Commercial Law League of America. Those memberships keep him plugged into conversations about practice developments and statewide court practice.

Allen moved into partnership at Peskin, Courchesne, & Allen, P.C. in 2005. That role expanded his responsibilities beyond individual casework to include collaborating on firm strategy and supervising junior attorneys. In 2022 he became managing partner at Allen Law, PC. As managing partner he oversees daily operations while continuing to handle client matters and mentor associates.

Across his career he has handled the ordinary breadth of private-practice tasks: advising clients, preparing filings, managing discovery, and resolving disputes through negotiation and in court when necessary. He has worked on matters involving commercial parties and private clients and has experience balancing casework with the administrative duties a small firm requires. Colleagues describe him as steady under pressure and practical in approach.

Today he leads Allen Law, PC and practices in Massachusetts. He maintains an active membership in the state bar and continues to participate in county and commercial law organizations. He currently represents private and business clients in matters arising under Massachusetts law.
