About Raipher D.
Raipher D. Pellegrino began his legal training at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, completing his law degree in 1991. That combination of public university roots and a Boston law school shaped his early view of the law as a practical tool for resolving disputes.
After law school, Pellegrino moved into private practice and eventually established his own firm, Raipher, P.C. He is the founder and serves as the principal attorney at the firm. Over the years he has managed a range of matters in trial and appellate settings and built a practice around courtroom work and case management.
Pellegrino is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and holds admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Those admissions have allowed him to handle cases at the state trial level, in federal court, and on appeal. He has navigated procedural and substantive issues across those forums, preparing pleadings, arguing motions, and appearing in hearings and trials.
He is an active member of several professional organizations. He belongs to the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Hampden County Bar Association. He also maintains memberships in the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American Association for Justice. Those affiliations connect him with colleagues statewide and nationally and provide ongoing access to continuing education and peer resources.
Colleagues describe Pellegrino as methodical in court preparation. He places weight on careful factual development and procedural readiness. That approach informs how he staffs cases at Raipher, P.C., allocates time for discovery, and plans courtroom presentations. He has balanced written advocacy with oral argument work throughout his career.
Outside the courtroom he has worked to keep current on developments in Massachusetts and federal practice through bar activities and professional networks. He practices primarily in the jurisdictions to which he is admitted and has handled matters that required coordination between trial courts and appellate panels. He maintains a practice representing clients in Massachusetts state and federal courts.
