About Jon Michael
Jon Gold has been practicing law in Springfield, Missouri, since 1990. After earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia that same year, he began his legal career by clerking for the Honorable George Flanigan of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, from 1990 to 1991. This early experience laid a solid foundation for his future endeavors in law. In 1995, he co-founded RGG Law, which marked the beginning of his commitment to providing comprehensive legal services in the region. In 2017, Jon took a significant step by establishing Reynolds & Gold, LLC, alongside his longtime partner, Ken Reynolds. This firm has since become a full-service law practice located in Springfield, Missouri.
The firm specializes in various areas, including bankruptcy law, business law, real estate law, and social security disability. Jon’s expertise in these fields has allowed him to assist numerous clients in navigating complex legal challenges. Additionally, he is a certified mediator in Missouri, further enhancing his ability to resolve disputes effectively. Throughout his career, Jon has been recognized for his dedication to pro bono work. He received pro bono awards from the Missouri Bar Association in 2010 and from Legal Services of Southern Missouri in 2004. These accolades highlight his commitment to providing free legal services to those in need.
His involvement in the legal community extends beyond his practice; he has served as the Chairman of the Social Security and Bankruptcy Committees of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. Jon has also been a speaker at bankruptcy seminars for both the Missouri Bar Association and the Springfield Bar Association, sharing his knowledge and insights with fellow attorneys. In addition to his professional achievements, Jon is actively engaged in various community organizations. He has served on the YMCA Board of Directors and the Consumer Credit Counseling Service Board, contributing to local initiatives aimed at improving community welfare. His leadership experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for Old Missouri Bank, where he held the position of Chairman of the Board. These roles reflect his commitment to both his profession and the community he serves.
