About Johnnie Daniel

Johnnie Daniel Bond began his legal training at the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1999 and earned his J.D. in 2002. He entered the profession at a time when the practice of law was shifting and competition for courtroom and client work was intense. Those early years shaped a practitioner comfortable in both client counseling and the courtroom routine.

After law school, Bond joined Armstrong Allen, PC as an associate lawyer in 2002. He spent his first years in private practice building casework and learning firm operations. In 2004 he accepted an of counsel role at Temple Law Offices. That position broadened his exposure to a wider range of matters and assisted in forming the professional network he would carry forward.

In 2006 Bond launched Johnnie Bond Law. He is listed as founder and partner. Over the next years he staffed the firm, handled intake, and managed the shifting demands of a small firm practice. The decision to open his own practice aligned with a desire for greater control over client selection and firm direction.

Bond holds licenses to practice in Tennessee and in the District of Columbia. He has been a member of the D.C. Bar Association since 2004 and joined the Washington Bar Association in 2005. Those memberships have kept him connected to peers in both jurisdictions and to local professional developments that affect trial and transactional lawyers alike.

Colleagues describe Bond as pragmatic and straightforward in his dealings. He has navigated matters that require coordination across state and federal lines, and he has managed the logistics of representing clients whose matters touch both Tennessee and the District. Over time he has refined an approach that favors clear communication, timely responsiveness, and attention to procedural detail.

Today Bond leads Johnnie Bond Law and maintains a practice that serves clients in multiple jurisdictions. He continues to handle matters that require the licensure and courtroom presence permitted by his admissions in Tennessee and in the District of Columbia. His current practice focuses on serving individuals and organizations with legal needs in those jurisdictions.
