About John Randolph Griffin

John Randolph Griffin III, known as Randy, is a founding partner at Frasier & Griffin, PLLC, with offices in Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1998. The firm specializes in criminal defense, personal injury, and DWI/DUI cases. Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Randy earned his B.S.

in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. He then obtained his J.D. from the North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1998. Before founding Frasier & Griffin, Randy served as an assistant district attorney in Cumberland and Orange counties.

He also worked as a case worker and field representative for former U.S. Congresswoman Eva M. Clayton. Randy is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the North Carolina Bar Association.

He has been recognized for his contributions to the Durham community, including serving on the Board of Directors for NAMI Durham and the Durham Housing Appeals Board. He is married to Myra Griffin, Vice-Chair of the NC Industrial Commission, and they have one son, Connor Griffin.
