About John
John Naumovski built a methodical path to law that began in accounting and veered into the courtroom. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Old Dominion University in 2001 and followed that with an M.S. in Accounting from the College of William and Mary in 2002. He then shifted to legal studies and received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2005.
While still in law school, Naumovski worked as a clerk in 2004 for the U.S. Trustee office within the Department of Justice. That experience exposed him to federal practice and case administration. After graduation he joined the bar and soon launched his own practice. He has been identified as practicing law at Naumovski Law since 2006.
His credentials include a certification as a Field Sobriety Assessment Lawyer. That certification reflects specialized training in the mechanics and admissibility of sobriety tests. He maintains memberships in several professional organizations that align with his work: the National College of DUI Defense, the College of National DUI Defense, the Virginia College of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Motorist Association, and the Virginia State Bar, where his membership dates to 2005 and continues to the present.
Naumovski’s background in accounting informs part of his approach to case work. He brings that numerical grounding to investigations, evidence review and cross-examination of technical witnesses. His practice in Virginia covers matters in state court and interactions with administrative procedures that intersect with driving offenses and criminal charges.
Colleagues and peers encounter him at professional gatherings tied to DUI defense and criminal law. He is involved in the organizations listed above and participates in ongoing training relevant to sobriety assessment and courtroom practice. That engagement helps him stay current on changes in law and procedure that affect motorist defense and related criminal matters.
He operates from Naumovski Law, where he handles client representation, case preparation and courtroom advocacy. He represents clients in DUI and criminal defense matters throughout Virginia.
