About John Mark Frazier
John Mark Frazier Jr. earned his J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2014. He completed law school and entered the bar soon after. The early years after graduation were busy and practical, spent building a small practice and taking on courtroom work in Florida.
In 2015 he founded Frazier Law, P.A., an effort that allowed him to handle a range of matters across state courts. He ran that shop while building ties in the local legal community. Three years later he joined Widerman & Malek, PL as a partner. The move broadened the scale of his caseload and placed him in a firm environment where he worked alongside other litigators.
His admitted jurisdictions include the Florida bar, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions reflect courtroom practice at both trial and appellate levels. They also indicate work that crosses from county courthouses to federal dockets.
Frazier has been active in local civic and professional organizations. He has served on the Business Advisory Board for the City of West Melbourne as a director by appointment since 2022. Since 2021 he has held an officer role and acted as legal counsel for Downtown Melbourne/Melbourne Main Street. He completed Leadership Brevard as part of the Class of 2020 and remains engaged with that program. He has volunteered as an educator for Junior Achievement of the Space Coast since 2016 and has participated in the Brevard County Bar Association, including its Young Lawyers Division, since the mid-2010s.
Colleagues describe him as practical in the courtroom and methodical in preparing matters for hearing. He has experience presenting issues in state trial courts and on federal dockets. His admissions to the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court have enabled him to accept appellate assignments when clients require that level of review.
His career path shows a mix of solo practice and firm partnership. That experience gives him familiarity with both the administrative demands of running a small firm and the collaborative practice of a larger office. He continues to balance courtroom work with community service and bar participation.
He practices at Widerman & Malek, PL and represents clients in state and federal courts, including appellate proceedings.
