About John M.
John M. Milazo built his legal foundation at the University of Mississippi. He earned a B.A. in Public Administration in 1991 and returned to complete his J.D. in 1996. Those years in Oxford shaped the early contours of a career that would center in Tennessee.
He began practicing law at the end of the 1990s. In 1999 he worked under his own name at the Law Office of John Milazo. Two years later he joined Brasfield and Milazo, P.C. as a partner. By 2010 he had established Milazo Law, P.C., where he serves as managing partner. That sequence of moves maps a steady progression from solo practice to firm leadership.
Milazo’s professional life extends beyond the courtroom. He has taken on governance roles in the local health sector. Since 2010 he has been on the board of Pro Health Medical, and in 2011 he became its board chairman. Those positions have put him in regular contact with health care administrators, physicians, and community stakeholders.
He is also active in civic and social organizations. Milazo holds membership in the Nashville Elks Lodge No. 72 and the Franklin City Club. He has been involved with the Franklin Noon Rotary since 2007 and is recognized there as a Paul Harris Fellow. These affiliations reflect a long-standing presence in the Franklin and greater Nashville communities.
Milazo is licensed to practice in Tennessee. Over the course of his career he has combined private practice with public-facing board work. His firm work covers the administrative responsibilities that come with running a law office, including supervision of associates and the management of client matters.
Colleagues describe him as steady and pragmatic in approach. He tends to keep his public profile focused on firm operations and local organizational leadership rather than on high-profile litigation. That orientation is visible in the continuity of his positions and the organizations he serves.
He divides his time between firm duties and service on nonprofit and civic boards. In practice he represents clients through Milazo Law, P.C., and manages the firm’s day-to-day operations, maintaining a private legal practice in Tennessee handling a range of legal matters.
