John Hicks is a seasoned trial attorney specializing in medical malpractice, business law, and products liability. His practice spans both Kansas and Missouri, where he serves clients from his office located at 9225 Indian Creek Parkway, Building 32, Suite 750, Overland Park, Kansas. With a strong academic foundation, Mr. Hicks earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications from Central Missouri State University in 1998. He then pursued a legal education at the University of Kansas School of Law, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 2001. Following his graduation, Mr. Hicks joined Norris & Keplinger, LLC in October 2001. His dedication and expertise led him to become a managing member of the firm in 2018.
Throughout his career, he has tried over forty jury trials in both Kansas and Missouri state courts. He has held leadership roles, including chairing the Lawyers’ Professionalism and Ethics Committee's Expert Witness Subcommittee from 2010 to 2012 and the Social Media Subcommittee from 2012 to 2014.
