About John Henry
John Henry Perrott began practicing law in California in the early 2000s. He first joined The Law Offices of Thomas Chase Stutzman, APC in 2004, where he gained early experience in family law matters and courtroom procedure. Over the next decade he handled an array of domestic relations issues and built a practice grounded in the procedural and evidentiary demands of California family courts.
In 2015 he established his own practice, The Law Offices of John H Perrott, APC. The transition to his own firm allowed him to manage clients’ cases from intake through trial or settlement. He built the office to serve clients across California, handling both routine and complex family law disputes. The firm’s name reflects his role as lead attorney and the professional corporation structure under which he operates.
He earned certification as a Certified Family Law Specialist from the California Board of Legal Specialization. That credential indicates completion of additional study, testing and experience in family law as defined by the board. It is one of the recognized specialist credentials available to attorneys practicing in California and is often used by clients and courts as one measure of practice concentration.
Perrott’s practice covers core family law matters. He handles divorce proceedings, child custody and visitation disputes, spousal and child support issues, and the division of community and separate assets. His work also encompasses prenups and postnuptial agreements, enforcement and modification actions, and cases that involve complex financial and property questions.
