About John
John Beasley earned his law degree at Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Vanderbilt University. He moved from the classroom to courtroom practice and built a career that spans federal and state forums. His legal education set the groundwork for a practice shaped by trial work and courtroom procedure.
Beasley is the founder of JF Beasley, LLC. Over the years he has gained admission to multiple jurisdictions, including the Georgia state courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Courts for both the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. Those admissions reflect a practice that operates at trial and appellate levels across state and federal systems.
His professional memberships run long and deep. He has belonged to the American Bar Association since 1996 and the National Employment Lawyers Association since 1995. Locally, he holds memberships in the Atlanta Bar Association and the Western Circuit of the Georgia Bar Association. He has also been active in the Federal Bar Association since 2009. Since 2014 he has served on the board of the Georgia affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers Association, a role that brings him into the policy and organizational side of employment-law practice.
Community involvement is part of his profile. Since 2011 Beasley has served on the board of the Oconee Area Resource Council, an engagement that places him inside local civic and service networks. That local work runs alongside his professional commitments, keeping him plugged into both community concerns and legal developments in Georgia.
Peers and colleagues know him for steady courtroom work rather than public-facing headlines. He maintains a practice at JF Beasley, LLC that handles matters in both federal and state venues. He balances trial preparation and appellate filings, and he participates in bar and professional groups that address employment law and related civil litigation issues.
He currently concentrates his practice on employment law and civil litigation matters at JF Beasley, LLC.
