About Joey
Joey Robertson took an unconventional path to the law. He began his higher education at Texas A&M University – Baylor College of Dentistry, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He later shifted to legal studies and completed a Juris Doctor at South Texas College of Law in 2002. That combination of scientific and legal training shapes how he approaches evidence and testimony.
After law school, Robertson established his practice in Texas. He is licensed to practice in the state and built a career handling matters for clients in a range of state forums. Over the years he has worked at Huntsville Law Group PLLC, where he serves as an attorney advising and representing individuals and organizations on matters that arise under Texas law. He brings an analytical eye to case preparation and courtroom advocacy.
Colleagues describe him as methodical. He favors clear courtroom presentation and careful review of records. Those habits reflect his early academic experience in a scientific environment and his formal legal training. He prepares clients for hearings and trials, explains procedural steps, and prioritizes practical outcomes. He also spends time on client counseling and the drafting of pleadings.
Robertson’s educational background informs the way he reads technical material. He is comfortable working through medical records and technical reports when they are part of a case file. That ability proves useful in matters that require close attention to detail, medical histories, or specialized documentation.
Outside the office, he has maintained ties to the Huntsville area through his work at Huntsville Law Group PLLC. The firm handles a variety of matters for local clients, and Robertson contributes to that practice through client representation and court appearances. He pursues resolution through negotiation when that path serves a client’s interests, and he is equally prepared to present a case to a judge or jury when necessary.
He keeps current on developments in Texas law and the procedural rules that govern litigation in state courts. His practice has evolved alongside changes in local courthouse procedures and state statutes. Robertson balances courtroom readiness with client communication, ensuring people understand the consequences of different legal options.
As of 2026 he practices law at Huntsville Law Group PLLC, representing clients in matters before Texas state courts.
