Recognized for her amazing paintings, Ms. Zimmerman acquired the Doris S. Hoffman Outstanding New Lawyer Award in June 2013 and the Bessie Ray Geffner, Esq. Memorial Award in June 2010. She is also actively involved in community corporations, serving at the Board of Directors of Life’s WORC, a nonprofit employer helping people with developmental disabilities and autism.
In addition to her prison exercise, Ms. Zimmerman is a Team Captain for “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer,” a charity walk that she has been concerned with for the beyond nine years.
