About Jillian
Jillian Scheidegger built her legal path steadily and without fanfare. She earned her J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2015 and has practiced in Wisconsin since completing law school. Her trajectory shows steady advancement through a single, consistent professional setting.
While still in law school, Scheidegger spent time at Cafferty Law Office as an intern in 2013. That early exposure gave her day-to-day experience in a small-firm environment. The internship bridged classroom study and practical work, and it set the stage for her return to the same office after graduation.
After receiving her degree in 2015, she joined Cafferty Law Office as an attorney. She handled client matters and learned to manage a varied docket. Over the next several years she moved from junior responsibilities into roles that carried more independence and client contact. Her years at the firm allowed her to develop procedural familiarity with Wisconsin courts and to build a steady caseload.
In 2021 she became a partner and the firm name changed to Cafferty & Scheidegger. As a partner she shares in the management of the practice and continues to represent clients. Her work includes preparing filings, advising clients on case strategy, and appearing in court when matters require. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical; she favors clear preparation and direct client communication. She remains licensed in Wisconsin and bases her practice in the same office where she began as an intern.
Scheidegger is active in local legal circles and holds current professional memberships. She has remained at Cafferty & Scheidegger since becoming partner and continues to handle client matters at the firm. Her current practice is at Cafferty & Scheidegger, where she represents and advises the firm’s clients in matters brought in Wisconsin courts.
