About Jewels Juhee
Jewels Juhee Jin earned her Juris Doctor from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in 2011. She came through a traditional law school path and entered the Orange County legal community shortly after graduation. Early training included participation in a trial lawyer program at the Orange County District Lawyer’s Office the same year she finished law school.
That trial exposure was formative. The Orange County District Lawyer’s Office awarded her a Certificate of Appreciation, and a separate certificate came from the Clerk County Public Defenders Office. Those acknowledgments reflect hands-on work in courtrooms and an early comfort with litigation settings. She moved quickly from trainee roles into positions of responsibility.
In 2012 she took on the role of lead lawyer at Jewels J. Jin, Esq., APC. The following years added credentials outside standard litigation practice. In 2014 she became a notary public through the California Secretary of State. In 2015 she earned a real estate broker license from the California Bureau of Real Estate. Those licenses expanded the range of matters she handles and added transactional and regulatory dimensions to her practice.
Her admissions cover a wide range of forums. She is admitted to practice in California state courts and holds admissions in United States District Courts and the United States Courts of Appeals, including appearances in the Ninth Circuit and the Federal Circuit. She is also admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States and has experience before Immigration Court and California dependency courts, holding the relevant certification for the latter. The variety of jurisdictions indicates steady work across trial, appellate and administrative venues.
Professional memberships have kept her connected to peers. She joined the Orange County Korean American Bar Association in 2013 and became a member of the North Orange County Bar Association in 2016. She added membership in the American Bar Association in 2017 and remains active in those organizations.
Her career blends courtroom experience, an independent practice, and licensed activity in real estate and notarial affairs. That mix shapes the matters she accepts and the clients she represents. She currently practices from JEWELS JIN ESQUIRE APC, handling cases in immigration, dependency, and federal appellate matters, alongside transactional work related to real estate licensing and documentation.
