About Jesus E

Jesus E Ochoa earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2021 after completing undergraduate studies in criminal justice at Texas A&M International University, where he received a B.S. in 2012. His academic path coupled courtroom training and classroom study. It left him comfortable with evidence, procedure, and the practical challenges that accompany litigation.

After law school, Ochoa sought admission to practice in the District of Columbia. He became a member of the District of Columbia Bar in 2022 and maintains active membership. That admission opened the door to practice in the city’s courts and administrative forums. Since joining the bar he has worked in private practice, applying the technical skills developed during his legal education to client matters in the capital.

Ochoa’s background in criminal justice shapes how he approaches cases. He pays attention to investigative detail and statutory text. He also places importance on clear communication with clients and other counsel. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing filings and deliberate in courtroom presentation. He does not seek the spotlight; he focuses on organizing facts and arguments that courts can readily follow.

Outside of courtroom work, Ochoa has been involved in the professional life of the local bar. His membership in the District of Columbia Bar places him among peers who handle a range of municipal, administrative, and federal matters. He has participated in routine continuing legal education and maintains the credentials necessary to practice in the District. He uses those opportunities to stay current on changes to local rules and procedures.

He is based at Ochoa & Hill Law Group, PLLC. The firm serves clients in matters arising under District of Columbia law. At the firm, Ochoa handles case intake, client counseling, and litigation tasks. He combines his criminal justice foundation with practical litigation work to guide clients through hearings and filings. He currently practices at Ochoa & Hill Law Group, PLLC, where he handles cases in the District of Columbia.
