About Jessica T.
Jessica T. Glick grew up far from the courtroom she now occupies, studying the liberal arts in Oklahoma before turning to law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma in 2003 and continued her studies at the University of Iowa College of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2007. Those years shaped a practical approach to legal work: careful analysis, clear writing, and attention to detail.
After law school, she entered private practice and spent the next years building experience across a range of legal tasks. Her work has included advocacy in court, negotiated settlements, client counseling, and the drafting of substantive legal documents. She has handled matters that required both on-the-record advocacy and behind-the-scenes problem solving. Colleagues describe her as methodical and exacting in preparation, and straightforward in courtroom presentation.
Glick has also kept an eye on professional development. She maintains current membership in professional associations and takes part in continuing legal education. Those activities allow her to stay aware of shifts in statutes, rules, and judicial decisions that affect her clients. She approaches those changes as practical constraints that must be translated into clear advice for the people she represents.
Her career path led her to Phelan Tucker Law, where she joined the firm as a member of the legal staff. At the firm she works on matters that require a mix of legal research, client communication, and strategic planning. She often serves as a primary point of contact for clients who need steady counsel through complex procedural or factual developments.
Clients and peers note an emphasis on clarity in her files and in court papers. Her briefs and motions aim to present the core legal issues plainly, and her meetings with clients are structured to set realistic expectations. She favors practical solutions that resolve disputes where possible and prepares thoroughly when litigation is necessary.
Outside of casework she spends time mentoring newer attorneys at the firm and contributing to internal practice management. That work reflects an interest in how law offices can run more efficiently while preserving careful legal analysis. She balances caseload demands with hands-on attention to client needs.
She currently practices at Phelan Tucker Law, representing clients and advising on a range of legal matters.
