About Jessica
Jessica Palmer built her path to the law in New Jersey classrooms and courtrooms. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from The College of New Jersey in 2010 and took the next step at Widener University Delaware School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2013. Those years of study shaped a practical understanding of procedure and client counsel that she carried into practice.
After law school, Palmer began practicing in the tri-state area. She is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York, and has handled matters that cross state lines. Early in her career she focused on gaining courtroom experience and bench-side familiarity with the mechanics of litigation. Over time she also developed the skills needed for out-of-court resolution, including negotiation and document drafting.
Her work habits reflect a lawyer’s steady rhythms: research, preparation, and direct client communication. She takes on factual investigation, crafts legal arguments and prepares filings for state-level matters. She has appeared before judges and administrative panels when the circumstances required formal advocacy, and she has spent hours negotiating settlements and refining contractual language when that route proved more effective for clients.
At Abatemarco Thomlison & Frantz, LLC Palmer practices with colleagues who handle a mix of matters affecting individuals and businesses. Her role there has involved both contested proceedings and transactional tasks. She manages case intake, develops strategy, and coordinates with opposing counsel and outside experts when cases demand specialized input. Colleagues describe her as thorough in preparation and deliberate in courtroom presentation.
Clients who work with Palmer encounter a lawyer attentive to deadlines and detail. She explains options plainly and lays out potential outcomes so clients can make informed choices. Her approach tends to prioritize practical solutions that resolve disputes efficiently when possible, while preserving clients’ rights when litigation becomes necessary.
Outside the office she keeps current on changes in state rules and court procedures that affect daily practice in New Jersey and New York. She also mentors newer attorneys on courtroom protocol and file management. Palmer continues to maintain an active practice at Abatemarco Thomlison & Frantz, LLC, handling matters that arise in both New Jersey and New York and focusing her work on the practical needs of her clients.
