About Jesse Monroe
Jesse Monroe Bablove studied at the University of Oregon, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. He went on to attend Chapman University Fowler School of Law and received his Juris Doctor before beginning his legal career.
He helped establish Kohan & Bablove, LLP and serves as a founding partner at the firm. That role has kept him deeply involved in the day-to-day work of a small law practice, from case intake to courtroom preparation. Colleagues describe him as methodical in building a file and practical when preparing strategy.
Over the years Bablove’s work has included client counseling, negotiation and courtroom appearances. He has experience preparing pleadings, arguing motions and managing discovery. His practice reflects the variety of challenges that come with running a boutique firm—hands-on litigation tasks, client communications and the administrative responsibilities of leadership.
Those who have worked with him note a direct style in client meetings and a tendency to favor clear, plainspoken explanations of legal options. He has handled matters across state courts in California and has guided clients through procedural and substantive challenges. His background combines traditional litigation tasks with the organizational work required to sustain a partnership.
Today Bablove continues to practice at Kohan & Bablove, LLP in California. He maintains an active role at the firm and focuses on client representation and dispute resolution in the matters the firm accepts.
