About Jesse

Jesse Lotspeich earned his Bachelor of Arts from Howard Payne University in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2005. He is admitted to practice in Texas and is also admitted to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Those academic and admission milestones set the stage for a career concentrated in litigation and injury matters.

He began practicing law in 2005. Early that year he worked as an associate at the Law Office of James Stanley where he handled personal injury matters. In the same year he moved into a role at Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC. Records list him simply as a lawyer there; his work over the years has been anchored in civil litigation and claims for individuals harmed in accidents.

Lotspeich’s practice is rooted in personal injury law. He has litigated claims in state courts and has experience in matters that reached federal court, consistent with his Fifth Circuit admission. He is a current member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a group that acknowledges counsel who have obtained significant verdicts or settlements. That membership is a marker of cases that have proceeded through trial or extended negotiations rather than an indication of any single result.

Colleagues describe his day-to-day work as courtroom preparation, discovery, client counseling and trial advocacy. He has handled pleadings, depositions and motions practice, and he represents clients through the full lifecycle of a tort case when matters do not settle. His background in straight personal injury practice gives him the institutional knowledge of how claims develop from initial intake to resolution or trial.

Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC is his current firm affiliation. The firm maintains multiple offices, including a Keller location where he has worked. At the firm he continues to represent plaintiffs in injury matters and to pursue recoveries on behalf of individuals who have suffered harm. He draws on litigation experience gained since 2005 and on admissions to both state and federal forums in the Fifth Circuit.

He remains an active trial lawyer handling personal injury claims for individuals. His current practice focuses on representing people who have been injured and pursuing civil remedies on their behalf.
