About Jeremy
Jeremy Lasnetski built his legal foundation at the University of Florida, earning a B.A. in 1997 and both a J.D. and an M.B.A. in 2001. He left school with both a law degree and a business degree. That combination shaped how he approaches client matters and case strategy.
He stepped into public service immediately after law school. In 2001 he joined the State Lawyer's Office and served as a division chief. The role placed him in a supervisory position early in his career and exposed him to courtroom practice and case management responsibilities.
After several years in the public sector, Lasnetski moved into private practice. In 2008 he became a partner at Lasnetski Gihon Law. In that capacity he has handled litigation, client counseling, and courtroom appearances. He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, which allows him to take federal and state matters.
Lasnetski is active in professional groups. He holds memberships in the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Those affiliations reflect the areas of law he spends time on and keep him connected to developments in both immigration and criminal defense practice.
Colleagues describe him as steady in court and attentive with clients. He draws on his business training when organizing cases and advising on practical outcomes. He maintains his practice at Lasnetski Gihon Law and works on cases that require both courtroom experience and an understanding of immigration issues. His work centers on immigration and criminal defense matters.
