About Jeremy

Jeremy Goodman built a professional path that crosses both finance and law. He completed a B.A. at Northern Arizona University, earned his J.D. from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2006, and later completed the Financial Institution Management program at the Pacific Coast Banking School in 2010. The combination of legal training and specialized banking education shapes much of his work today.

Goodman began his career in the financial sector. In 2006 he joined Wells Fargo as an Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager. That role put him on the front lines of client relationships and commercial lending, and it exposed him to the operational and regulatory pressures banks face. He moved from banking into law the following year and brought that perspective with him.

He entered private practice as an associate at Alston & Bird LLP in 2007. A year later he joined Gust Rosenfeld P.L.C. as an associate, where he continued to develop transactional and advisory skills. In 2011 he served of counsel at Jones & Keller P.C., a role that allowed him to combine hands-on client work with strategic advice. These positions built a practical understanding of commercial clients and financial institutions.

In 2012 Goodman became the managing member of Goodman Law PLLC. The move to start his own firm followed several years gaining experience in both the banking world and traditional law firm settings. His background at Wells Fargo and the Pacific Coast Banking School inform how he advises clients on matters that touch banks, lenders and corporate borrowers. He draws on that mix of commercial and institutional experience when reviewing transactions, assessing risk and advising on regulatory matters.

Colleagues describe Goodman as methodical and direct. He is known for parsing complex financial arrangements into concrete steps clients can take. He has handled a range of matters that require coordination between legal, financial and operational teams. Goodman practices in Arizona and maintains an office under the Goodman Law PLLC name. He currently focuses his practice on banking and financial services matters and related commercial issues.
