About Jeremy
Jeremy Anderson studied biomechanics at the University of Texas at Austin before turning to the law. He earned a B.S. in Biomechanics and then enrolled at Southwestern Adventist University, where he received his J.D. in 2008. The shift from a science undergraduate degree to law school gave him a different vantage point on technical and factual issues that often arise in litigation and client counseling.
He began his legal career in 2008 as an associate at Hunton & Williams LLP. At that national firm he worked on assignments that required legal research, drafting pleadings and briefs, and supporting more senior attorneys at hearings and conferences. The position offered steady exposure to multi-layered matters and the processes of a large, multidisciplinary practice.
In 2011 he became a partner at Anderson Beakley, PLLC. Taking that role moved him from an associate track into firm leadership and case management. He assumed responsibility for supervising associates and coordinating client work. The change also placed him closer to the day-to-day business of running a law firm, including client intake and matter allocation.
His professional background bridges the scale of a large firm and the environment of a smaller, partnership-run practice. That combination has informed the way he approaches clients and cases. He has handled the kinds of legal tasks common to private firms: researching complex legal questions, preparing litigation documents, negotiating resolutions, and managing ongoing client relationships. He is licensed to practice in Texas and has spent his career practicing under Texas law.
