Jere Norwood Sullivan Jr. is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1976. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Sullivan earned his Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School in 1976. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and George Washington University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973. During his time at George Washington University, he clerked for Professor Gilbert Ginsberg and the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Board of Contract Appeals, reflecting his initial interest in government contract law.

Mr. Sullivan's practice areas encompass civil rights, criminal defense, discrimination, employment law, family law, human rights, personal injury, and real estate matters, including landlord-tenant disputes and evictions. Prior to establishing his solo practice in 1983, he worked as a partner at Yinger, Blanton and Sullivan in Bakersfield, California, from 1980 to 1983, and served in the Kern County District Attorney's Office from 1977 to 1980.

Mr. Sullivan is an active member of the San Luis Obispo Bar Association and the State Bar of California. He is also a sustaining member of the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. In addition to his legal practice, he has served as a pro tem judge in the San Luis Obispo County Court since 1995, handling small claims, traffic, and juvenile cases. Outside of his legal work, Mr. Sullivan is known for his musical talents, occasionally performing with local artists, and has a keen interest in sports, particularly baseball, as well as wine collecting and amateur winemaking.
