About Bradley D.
Bradley D. Liggett built his legal foundation at Brigham Young University, where he studied Spanish translation and linguistics as an undergraduate and later earned a J.D. in 2008. His time in law school included coursework in alternative dispute resolution, a thread that would run through parts of his early legal work.
He started his career in larger firm settings. In 2008 he worked at Troutman Sanders LLP, then moved to George - Cyr in 2009. Those roles exposed him to the demands of litigation practice and the mechanics of preparing cases for trial. In 2011 he launched the Law Office of Bradley D. Liggett, taking on responsibility for case management and client relations. In 2013 he served as a trial lawyer at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, where he handled matters in court and gained further trial experience.
Liggett’s practice has remained tied to courtroom work and client advocacy. He has been a member of the Central Coast Trial Lawyers Association since 2013 and joined the San Luis Obispo Bar Association the same year. Those memberships reflect the regional character of his practice and his involvement in the local legal community.
Clients and colleagues describe him as someone who prepares cases thoroughly and prefers litigation that reaches the jury when it must. He combines language skills from his undergraduate training in Spanish translation with trial experience to communicate with a broader range of clients and witnesses. That bilingual ability has shaped how he approaches interviews, depositions and negotiations.
Over the years Liggett has balanced work at firms and solo practice. He has experience drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, and presenting evidence at trial. His background includes both the procedural side of litigation and the courtroom work of examining witnesses and arguing motions.
He practices in California and handles personal injury claims and trial litigation. His current work continues to center on representing clients in contested cases and pursuing outcomes through litigation when necessary.
