About Jenny Lynn
Jenny Lynn Doling is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California and Nevada. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2000. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Doling is the founding member of J. Doling Law, PC, a bankruptcy and insolvency firm serving Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada, with its main office in Palm Desert, California. She has been practicing law for over two decades, focusing exclusively on bankruptcy, debt relief, and tax resolution.
Ms. Doling earned her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in 2000. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at California State University, San Bernardino, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 1997. During her time at California Western, she developed a strong foundation in bankruptcy law, which has been central to her legal career.
Ms. Doling specializes in bankruptcy law, representing trustees, creditors, and debtors in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy matters. She also handles tax resolution cases, assisting clients in disputes with the IRS, Franchise Tax Board, and California Department of Tax and Fee Administration. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Doling has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Riverside, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She has also appeared before the U.S. Tax Court. Prior to founding her own firm, she worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Palm Desert for several years.
Ms. Doling is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), serving on its Board of Directors. She is also a member of the California Lawyers Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. In 2013, she received the National Distinguished Service Award from NACBA. Ms. Doling is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
