About Jennifer
Jennifer Weise took a conventional path into the law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 1999 and completed her Juris Doctor at The University of Toledo College of Law in 2003. Those years shaped her understanding of the legal system and prepared her for work in Michigan courts.
She began her professional career soon after law school and now serves as an associate lawyer at Grabel & Associates. In that role she manages client matters, prepares filings, and appears in court on behalf of individuals and businesses. Colleagues describe her as methodical; she breaks complex problems into manageable parts and sets clear steps for her clients.
Weise is licensed to practice in Michigan and maintains membership in the State Bar of Michigan. That membership keeps her connected to developments in state law and to other lawyers across practice areas. She attends continuing legal education programs and participates in bar activities relevant to the firm’s work.
At Grabel & Associates she works alongside partners and other associates on a range of matters handled by the firm. Her day-to-day work includes client interviews, legal research, drafting pleadings and negotiating resolutions where appropriate. She balances litigation duties and transactional tasks depending on each client’s needs, and she practices under the supervision and collaboration typical of an associate-level attorney.
Her legal training at Toledo and Michigan informs how she approaches cases. In class and in practice she emphasized clarity in written work and efficiency in case management. Those habits carry over to her client files. She prepares concise summaries for clients and keeps them updated on developments, aiming to reduce uncertainty in what can be a slow process.
Outside of immediate casework, Weise contributes to the office by mentoring newer staff and helping streamline office procedures. She participates in internal training and shares strategies that help maintain consistency in client service across the firm. Her professional life is centered around the work at Grabel & Associates and the practice of law in Michigan.
As of 2026 she remains an active member of the State Bar of Michigan and continues to practice as an associate at Grabel & Associates, handling a mixture of litigation and client advisory matters for the firm’s clients.
