About Jennifer S
Jennifer S Bock earned both a J.D. and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from the University of Dayton School of Law, completing her graduate studies in 2013. She entered practice in the same year, joining several small firms and specialty practices that gave her early exposure to litigation, bankruptcy and discovery work. Those years laid a technical and procedural foundation she still draws on today.
Her first professional roles included work as a personal injury lawyer at Dyer, Garafalo, Mann and Schultz and as a bankruptcy lawyer with Jacoby and Meyers in 2013. She also handled discovery assignments that year through Special Counsel, working on projects for Black Letter Discovery and Review Right. The mix of adversarial and document-intensive work shaped how she approaches case preparation.
In 2014 she moved into collections and foreclosure work at the Law Office of Stephen Miles. A year later she shifted into an in-house role, serving as Collections Manager and In-House Counsel for Vinebrook Homes. That position required balancing litigation strategy with portfolio management and client-facing responsibilities. It also gave her experience in assessing risk on a programmatic level rather than case-by-case.
In 2016 she founded Bock Legal Services, LLC and serves as its owner and managing partner. The firm handles a range of matters that reflect her earlier roles: collections, foreclosure, bankruptcy, discovery and related litigation. She is licensed in Ohio and admitted to practice before the Federal Circuit. Her training in intellectual property adds another layer to the practice, particularly on matters where commercial disputes intersect with technical issues.
Clients and colleagues describe her work as pragmatic and detail-oriented. She prepares cases with an eye toward procedure and practical outcomes. In litigation she focuses on clear, document-driven strategies; in transactional or in-house contexts she emphasizes systems that reduce later disputes. She continues to operate Bock Legal Services, LLC. Her practice handles collections, bankruptcy, discovery and intellectual property matters.
