About Jennifer M.

Jennifer M. Erlinger built a legal foundation rooted in both law and business. She earned a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Stetson University in 2002 after completing a B.A. at the University of Florida in 1999. Her coursework at Stetson included advocacy training, a credential she later added to her professional qualifications.

Her early career moved quickly into public service. She worked in several state offices where the caseload often involved family and child-related matters. Those roles included assignments in the Office of the State Lawyer for the Sixth Circuit, the Office of the Lawyer General, and the Child Support Enforcement unit of the Attorney General’s office. She also served in the Guardian Ad Litem Program, gaining hands-on exposure to court procedures that affect children and families.

The sequence of public-sector positions gave her a steady immersion in courtroom practice and client-facing work. In those settings she handled filings, hearings and legal research, often under tight deadlines. The work required familiarity with Florida procedural rules and an ability to explain complex information to nonlawyers. Her background in business added a practical layer to case management and procedural strategy.

Erlinger holds active membership in the Florida Bar and participates in local professional networks, including the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association. Her formal advocacy training at Stetson complements that membership. Colleagues describe her as methodical; clients see someone who is comfortable in the courtroom and attentive in preparation. She has remained in Florida throughout her career and maintains licensure in the state.

She is currently at Wood, Atter & Wolf, P.A., where she continues work that draws on her years in state offices and on child-related proceedings. Her practice reflects the combination of litigation experience, advocacy training and public-sector background that has shaped her approach to cases. She concentrates her work on matters arising from her prior roles and on continuing representation in the areas that align with that experience.
