About Jennifer L.
Jennifer L. Rench built her legal foundation at Saint Louis University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in 2005 and stayed on for a Juris Doctor, awarded in 2008. Those academic years framed an early interest in client work and practical legal tasks.
Her first paid position in the legal field came in 2006, while she was still in law school. She worked as a legal assistant at Klar, Izsak & Stenger, LLC. After earning her degree she joined Fireman’s Fund as a lawyer in 2008. The next year she took on ownership and leadership responsibilities, forming Greene & Taylor, LLC and serving as lawyer and owner.
Rench continued to move between small firm leadership roles. In 2013 she established Fortis Law Office, LLC and operated the practice as its owner. Three years later she opened J. Rench Law Office LLC, which is also identified as St. Louis Divorce and Mediation. Those successive ventures signal a steady shift into solo practice and firm management. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and in the Federal Circuit.
Her work in collaborative family law has been especially visible in local and national professional groups. She joined the Collaborative Family Law Association in 2015 and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals the same year. Starting in 2016 she took on expanded responsibilities inside the Collaborative Family Law Association, serving on the board and chairing the public relations committee. Those roles have continued through the present.
Colleagues describe her as an attorney who prefers mediated and cooperative approaches in family disputes. She has combined courtroom experience from earlier employment with an emphasis on negotiated outcomes in family law matters. The St. Louis practice has offered divorce representation, mediation services and collaborative law options, and Rench has guided clients through financial and procedural questions that arise in those settings.
Her background in accounting informs how she approaches economic issues in family cases. She favors practical solutions and plain explanations. In private practice she handles divorce proceedings, mediation sessions and collaborative family law matters in and around St. Louis. Her current work centers on family law, including divorce and mediation.
