About Jeffrey

Jeffrey Wolf earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2003 and went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Denver in 2006. Those years shaped his legal foundation. They also anchored a career spent largely in Colorado courtrooms and federal filings.

After law school he began practicing in the state and federal courts that serve Colorado. Over time he built a practice that led him to establish his own firm. Today he is the owner of Wolf Law, LLC. Running a small firm has required him to handle a wide range of tasks beyond courtroom advocacy. He manages client intake, oversees case strategy, and handles office operations. He also files cases and argues matters in Colorado courts and before the Federal Circuit.

Court work is a regular part of his calendar. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and in proceedings before the Federal Circuit. That mix of state and federal work has meant moving between local trial dockets and the more technical issues that arise in federal appellate practice. The two forums demand different approaches, and his practice reflects that variety.

Professional associations have been a consistent element of his career. He has been a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar since 2007. He joined the Colorado Bar Association’s Public and Legal Services section the same year. He is also a member of the Denver Bar Association and the Arapahoe County Bar Association, the latter membership beginning in 2013. These organizations have offered him opportunities to stay current on changes in criminal law, access continuing education, and connect with colleagues across practice areas.

Colleagues describe him as practical and straightforward in his courtroom style. He tends to favor concise presentation and direct argument over theatrical oratory. That approach is visible in both bench and jury settings. His caseload has included contested hearings and negotiated resolutions, and he regularly interacts with prosecutors, judges, and defense counsel in Colorado.

Outside the courtroom he maintains the administrative responsibilities that come with running a firm. That includes supervising staff, directing case management, and ensuring clients receive regular updates on their matters. His practice balances litigation with client counseling.

He continues to practice through Wolf Law, LLC, handling criminal defense and related matters in Colorado and in federal courts.
