About Jeffrey Scott
Jeffrey Scott Connelly is an attorney who built a practice out of courtroom work and trial experience. He studied philosophy and French as an undergraduate and later earned a law degree in 2012. Those years of study shaped a precise approach to facts and argument.

He began his legal career in the Fulton County courts. In 2011 he served as a law clerk to the Honorable John J. Goger at the Fulton County Superior Court. The following year he joined the Fulton County District Lawyer's Office as an assistant district lawyer in the Complex Trial Division. After moving into private practice, Connelly worked as a trial attorney in a series of litigation roles. His résumé lists time at Terry D Jackson PC and at kard Wynne LLP in 2016, followed by trial work at Wynne & Wynne in Austin in 2017. Those positions involved state and federal courtroom work across different jurisdictions and case types. In 2020 he co-founded Cofer & Connelly, PLLC. As a founding partner he shifted responsibilities again, combining case work with firm management.
Connelly is admitted to practice in Texas and Georgia and is authorized in several federal courts, including the 11th Circuit and U.S. District Courts in the Southern District of Texas and the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. Memberships in professional groups include the Austin Bar Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Texas Bar College, the Texas Bar Foundation and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He maintains ties to bar groups in both states where he practices.
