Jeffrey Andrew Rager is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California in 1996, holding. He is the founding partner of Rager & Yoon Employment Lawyers, a firm located at 2321 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 4255, El Segundo, California. Mr. Rager has been practicing law for over 30 years, focusing on employment law, civil rights, and personal injury cases throughout California.
Mr. Rager earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Diego in 1993. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, graduating in 1996. During his time at Loyola, he gained practical experience as an extern at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office and with the Honorable Samuel L. Bufford of the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Mr. Rager's practice areas include employment law, civil rights, and personal injury. He represents clients in cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour disputes, and various personal injury matters. His legal work encompasses all stages of litigation, from initial case evaluation and discovery to settlement negotiations and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rager has handled cases in the Superior Court of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has achieved several multimillion-dollar verdicts, including a seven-figure trial verdict in 2015. Prior to founding his own firm, he was a partner at Mathews & Rager, LLP, from 2000 to 2005, and an attorney at Hillsinger & Costanzo from 1997 to 1999. He began his legal career as a law clerk at Girardi & Keese from 1994 to 1996.
Mr. Rager is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and the California Employment Lawyers Association.
