About Jeff

Jeff Grandjean built a steady legal career rooted in courtroom practice and small-firm work. He read government as an undergraduate and then moved into law school. The sequence shaped a practical approach to advocacy.

He earned a B.A. in government from New Mexico State University in 2007 and received his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2010. Those years covered classroom study and early exposure to the kinds of disputes that often end up in front of juries. The academic path led him back to New Mexico to begin practicing law.

Grandjean's early professional steps came at two New Mexico firms. In 2010 he worked at Sandenaw Law Office, P.C., and the following year he joined Hennighausen & Olsen, LLP. Those positions provided front-line experience in litigation and client counseling. He spent those seasons of practice learning the routines of motion practice, discovery and trial preparation.

In 2016 he opened his own shop, Grandjean Law Office, LLC. As owner, he handles the full sweep of tasks that come with running a small firm: client intake, case strategy, courtroom appearances and the administrative duties of practice management. The move to solo practice gave him control over which cases to accept and how to manage them for clients in New Mexico.

He is a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, a group he joined in 2012 and remains part of. That membership ties him to other lawyers who practice in trial courts around the state and keeps him connected to continuing legal education and local trial procedures.

Colleagues and clients describe him as someone who prefers the concrete demands of advocacy over abstract legal theory. He has spent most of his career working on litigation matters and appearing in state courts. He keeps a case load typical of a small firm practitioner and handles each matter from intake through disposition.

Grandjean is licensed to practice in New Mexico and maintains his office under the Grandjean Law Office, LLC name. His current practice centers on litigation in New Mexico, including taking cases to trial when necessary.
