About Jayme L.
Jayme L. Levy grew up studying politics and history and carried that interest into law. She earned a B.A. in political science and history from Ohio University in 2007, then completed her J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2010. Those academic years gave her a foundation in legal research and courtroom procedure early in her career.
After law school she continued to build her legal qualifications in Maryland. In 2017 she launched The Law Office of Jayme L. Levy, LLC, creating a small firm through which she provides direct representation to clients. The firm reflects a desire to handle cases with hands-on involvement from the lawyer who founded it.
Levy is an active member of the Baltimore County Bar. That membership keeps her connected to local practice developments and to colleagues across the county’s bar. Her presence in local bar activities also informs her understanding of the procedural expectations of Maryland courts.
Clients and colleagues describe Levy as methodical. She prepares records, outlines issues, and presents arguments plainly. She prefers clear explanations over legalese. That approach helps clients understand key choices and consequences. She also emphasizes managing deadlines and filings carefully, an aspect of practice that lawyers and clients routinely say makes a practical difference in case handling.
Her firm operates in Maryland and concentrates on matters that arise under state law. Levy’s practice involves routine courtroom appearances, filings, and negotiations that are part of litigated and contested matters at the state level. She staffs her office to provide direct access to the attorney and to streamline communication between client and counsel.
Outside the office she keeps up with developments in Maryland procedure and attends meetings of the Baltimore County Bar. Those activities help her track changes that can affect case strategy and client expectations. She continues to maintain an active practice through The Law Office of Jayme L. Levy, LLC and focuses on providing representation in Maryland state courts.
