About Jaylene
Jaylene Trivino earned her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2011. She completed law school after a concentrated period of study and entered the practice shortly thereafter. Her legal education established the groundwork for work in criminal defense and client advocacy.
She began her post-law school career in public service. In 2012 she joined the Public Defender's Office in Tampa, Florida as an associate lawyer. There she handled a variety of criminal matters, gaining courtroom experience and exposure to trial preparation, client interviewing and case investigation.
In 2016 Trivino served as a contract lawyer for Consilio LLC. That role expanded her exposure to different types of legal work and project-based assignments. She then moved into private practice and, in 2017, worked as a criminal law lawyer at Latorre Law Office. The shift marked a transition from public defense to representing clients in the private sector.
In 2018 she founded Trivino Law PLLC and became its owner and lawyer. Starting her own firm allowed her to direct case selection and firm operations. The practice has offered her an opportunity to apply courtroom experience alongside transactional and contract-related skills developed earlier in her career.
Trivino holds memberships in professional organizations in North Carolina. She has been a member of the North Carolina Bar Association since 2017 and joined Women Lawyers of Charlotte in 2018. Those affiliations place her within local legal networks and bar activities while she maintains licensure in both Florida and North Carolina.
Her background combines trial work from the public defender’s office, project and contract assignments, and private criminal practice. She has moved steadily from staff roles into firm leadership and now manages cases through her own practice. She currently concentrates on criminal defense and related litigation at Trivino Law PLLC.
