About Javed Inam
Javed Inam Ellahie is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1975. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Ellahie is the founder and managing attorney at Ellahie Law Firm, a full-service law firm located in Campbell, California. He has been practicing law for over 50 years, serving clients throughout the Bay Area, including San Jose and San Francisco.
Mr. Ellahie earned his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1974. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Fresno, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1970. He furthered his legal education by obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning and Taxation from Golden Gate University in 2008. During his time at Santa Clara University, he was actively involved in various legal seminars and workshops.
Mr. Ellahie concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate law, and bankruptcy. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving wills, trusts, probate administration, and bankruptcy proceedings under Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. He is also a certified bankruptcy law specialist, certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ellahie has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. In addition to his private practice, he has served as a Trustee to the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the West-Valley Mission Community College District. He was also elected to the Monte Sereno City Council in 2018 and has served as its Mayor.
Mr. Ellahie is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Silicon Valley Bar Association. He is also a certified mediator through the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California's Bankruptcy Dispute Resolution Program. Mr. Ellahie is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the Bay Area effectively.
