Eben Lee Kurtzman is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1989. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Kurtzman is a partner at Red House Lawyer, a law firm located in San Jose, California. He has been practicing law for over 36 years, serving clients throughout Santa Clara County and the broader San Francisco Bay Area.
Mr. Kurtzman earned his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1989. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1986. During his time at Santa Clara University, he was actively involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in the field.
Mr. Kurtzman concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury law, real estate law, and stockbroker and investment fraud. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving animal and dog bites, brain injuries, car accidents, construction accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, truck accidents, and wrongful death claims. Throughout his career, Mr. Kurtzman has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Jose for several years.
Mr. Kurtzman is an active member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a certified mediator through the Santa Clara County Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Kurtzman is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Santa Clara County effectively.
