About Jason
Jason Stone built his legal foundation at the University of Arizona, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2011. He continued his studies at Southwestern University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2014. Those years set the stage for a mix of courtroom exposure and court-side learning that has shaped his approach to practice. He is admitted to practice in California and before the Federal Circuit.
Stone’s early resume reads like a sequence of courtrooms and clerk’s chambers. In 2011 he worked as a law clerk for Judge Wilson. The following year he handled preliminary hearings at the Los Angeles District Lawyer’s Office, gaining regular experience with trial court procedures. In 2013 he served as a law clerk at Alder Law and also took on a judicial clerkship at the Los Angeles Superior Court. Each role added a different perspective on litigation, evidence and courtroom dynamics.
After finishing law school in 2014, Stone moved quickly into private practice. By 2015 he had become a partner at Stone & Sallus LLP. That position brought a new set of responsibilities. He began managing client files, supervising junior attorneys and coordinating litigation strategy. The shift from clerk and staff roles to firm leadership required him to adapt the procedural knowledge he had accumulated into everyday practice.
Stone’s professional affiliations reflect his ties to the Los Angeles legal community. He holds membership in the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the South Bay Bar Association. He also serves as a barrister in the Beverly Hills Bar Association and in the Hon. Benjamin Aranda, III American Inns of Court. Those memberships keep him engaged with peers and current legal issues in the region.
Colleagues and opposing counsel describe him as methodical and direct. He favors clear written work and prepares thoroughly for hearings. His background includes time inside judicial chambers and at a district office that handles preliminary proceedings, which informs how he approaches evidentiary and procedural questions.
Stone practices at Stone & Sallus LLP. He undertakes matters in California courts and handles filings before the Federal Circuit, maintaining both trial-court and federal-circuit practice in his current work.
