About Jason
Jason Greer graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University with a Juris Doctor. He completed his legal training there before entering practice in Kentucky. His education provided the groundwork for a career that has moved between public service and private practice.
He was admitted to the Kentucky bar in 2008. Early in his career he took on roles in county legal offices. In 2009 he served as Assistant County Lawyer in Lawrence County, a post that introduced him to the practical demands of local government law and courtroom work.
In 2010 he joined the Commonwealth of Kentucky as an Assistant Commonwealth Lawyer in the 32nd Judicial Circuit. That same year he established his own firm, operating under the name Jason Greer, Lawyer At Law. Balancing a role in the commonwealth’s office while launching a private practice gave him experience on both sides of the courthouse door.
By 2013 he returned to county government service as Assistant County Lawyer for Carter County. Across those positions he worked on matters that typically arise in county and circuit courts. His work involved advising public officials, preparing filings, and representing clients in hearings and trials.
Greer’s career reflects steady movement between public-sector appointments and private practice. He has continued to maintain his lawyer status since 2008 and keeps active ties to the Kentucky legal community. Today he operates as the owner of Jason Greer, Lawyer at Law. He manages that practice in Kentucky and draws on his years in county and commonwealth roles when representing clients.
